Codiac Regional RCMP are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a voyeurism case in Moncton.

Police say the man may have used a "disguised" camera to take photographs of a woman in a dressing room at a clothing store on Trinity Drive on Oct. 22.

The woman "had advised the store personnel that she believed that a man had used a camouflaged camera to take pictures of her from under the door of the change room," said Const. Damien Thériault.

The suspect is described as being about six feet tall. (RCMP)

He declined to say how the camera was disguised or to identify the store in question.

Voyeurism cases are unusual, said Thériault.

"We do from time to time get reports of such incidents, but they're not fairly common."

Investigators have released a surveillance camera image of the suspect and a sketch by a forensic artist in an effort to identify him.

The man is described as being about six feet tall and he spoke English without an accent.
