Human bones discovered in tent in Penniac

RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains in a tent in the woods near the Penniac Bridge, north of Fredericton, over the weekend.
It appears the remains may have been there for some time, Cpl. Chantal Farrah stated in a release.
The bones will be analyzed to confirm the person's identity and the cause of death, she said.
Hikers discovered the remains and some personal items on Saturday at about 5 p.m.
Penniac is a small rural community located about 10 kilometres northeast of Fredericton.
