Shediac fire leaves 5 homeless

Five people are staying with friends and relatives in New Brunswick after a fire destroyed their home on Saturday.
The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze was reported at 2 p.m. at 115 Smith Avenue in Shediac.
Nobody was injured. However, the Red Cross says the duplex was destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters were on the scene for several hours and there was no immediate word on the cause.
