Parents attended a discussion at a Fredericton high school on Wednesday night that was designed to educate them about how their children use popular social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter.
The evening session on social media was held at Leo Hayes High School.
The high school's guidance department had been planning the event for a long time.
Joe Brennan said the school wants to educate parents on social media, so they can help their kids avoid problems.
