Ronald Stephen Alexander MacNeill, 28, is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault. (RCMP)A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a Moncton man, wanted in connection with a stabbing in the city on Halloween night.
Ronald Stephen Alexander MacNeill, 28, is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault, say RCMP.
"Anyone who sees him should contact police immediately," Const. Damien Thériault stated in a release.
Two men suffered non-life threatening stab wounds in an altercation with two other men on Robinson Street, near Wize Guys Pub, at about 2 a.m. on Nov. 1, police said. The men were treated in hospital.
MacNeill is described as being about six-foot-two, 215 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and a beard.
Meanwhile, RCMP are still trying to identify a second person of interest, who had his face painted as the fictional character the Joker from Batman, said Thériault.
The man is described as being about five-foot-six or five-foot-seven, with a slim build and short, spiked hair.
He was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, a dark tie and dark pants at the time.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 506-857-2400, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
