3 in custody after senior robbed and assaulted in Saint John
Saint John man in his 70s received minor injuries

Police took three people into custody Saturday morning in connection with a robbery on the city's east side.
The incident happened at around 12:45 a.m..
Police said the suspects broke into a house and assaulted a man in his 70s. The victim sustained only minor injuries.
A witness got a good look at the suspects' vehicle.
Police said an officer spotted that vehicle not long after the incident in the north end of the Saint John and made the arrests.
A woman in her 40s, a man in his 30s and another in his 40s are currently being interviewed by investigators.
