The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a warning that a cheddar-flavoured popcorn sold in eastern Canada may be contaminated with Listeria.

The aged white cheddar popcorn from Popcorn Indiana has been voluntarily recalled by the importer. The American product was distributed in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, and may have been distributed in other provinces.

There have been no illnesses reported in connection with the popcorn.
