Sunday marks the final day for the Harvest Jazz and Blues festival in Fredericton, N.B, Atlantic Canada's largest blues and jazz festival .
Since its inception in 1991, the festival has grown to include other events such as buskers, street performers and a skateboard competition. It is also one of the busiest times of the year for local businesses.
This year's festival includes 27 stages, more than 150 acts occupying six city blocks in downtown Fredericton.
Lisa Wilby, owner of the Cedar Tree Cafe located on the main street used by the festival, said the atmosphere is hectic.
"It's a lot busier. Obviously, you make more money, but then you have to spend more money to make more money," said Wilby, "But again, it's more fun. It would be nice to encourage the people of Fredericton to come out more often."
Wilby said there are downtown venues that host jazz and blues shows year-round.
