One person dead after crash near Shediac

The crash happened Saturday afternoon on Route 134, Shediac Road, near Shediac, N.B. (CBC)
RCMP confirm a young man is dead after a crash this afternoon on Route 134, Shediac Road, near Shediac, N.B.
Two other passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Cpt. Jos LeBlanc, with the Shediac Fire Department, said a call came in around 3 p.m. that three people were trapped inside a car on fire.
LeBlanc said when firefighters reached the scene, three people were outside of the vehicle.
Police said a single vehicle lost control, collided with a tree and a hydro pole and caught on fire.
Several witnesses came to the aid of the victims.
An RCMP reconstructionist attended the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.
