RCMP are investigating a fire at a Saint-François poultry farm that claimed 9,500 chickens early Sunday morning.
A building on Chemin Boulevard that housed a chicken nursery was destroyed, Sgt. Marc Violette stated in a news release.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown, said Violette.
Anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the District 10 RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
