RCMP investigating homicide in Saint-Simon

RCMP are investigating a shooting death in northeast New Brunswick, they are calling a homicide.
Caraquet RCMP said officers responded to a 911 call late Saturday morning regarding a shooting in Saint-Simon.
When they arrived at the residence on Ancêtres Road they discovered the body of a man in his thirties. Mounties said it appeared the man had been shot with a firearm.
A suspect, a man in his twenties, was arrested a short time later by police. He remains in custody and is scheduled to make a court appearance by telephone on Sunday. Police haven't indicated what charges he may be facing.
RCMP said they are continuing their investigation.
