Moncton Wildcats cruise to 3-2 series lead

A dominant performance has given the Moncton Wildcats a chance to win the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League title at home.
Devon MacAusland scored twice for the Wildcats, who cruised by the Saint John Sea Dogs 5-1 to take a 3-2 series lead Saturday in Saint John, N.B.
Kelsey Tessier, Gabriel Bourque and Daniel Pettersson also scored for Moncton, which can earn a spot in the 2010 Memorial Cup with a win at home Monday.
Defenceman Nathan Beaulieu scored the lone goal for the Sea Dogs.
Bourque kicked off the scoring for Moncton at 9:25 in the first period, and Pettersson added one more with a minute left to make it 2-0.
Moncton had a 4-0 lead heading into the third after Tessier scored at 10:39 and MacAusland potted his first at 13:59.
Saint John got one back at 11:55 when Beaulieu finally got a shot past Wildcats goaltender Nicola Riopel. But Saint John had already lost by the time MacAusland scored his second at 17:17 to close it out.
Riopel finished with 30 saves, while Sea Dogs goalie Marco Cousineau also stopped 30 and was in net for all five goals.
