Codiac RCMP have released surveillance camera footage from a Moncton, N.B., mall where a woman went missing last week, hoping the public can help identify some of the people in the video.
Donna O'Rielly, 54, was last seen leaving her job at H&R Block at Highfield Square on Feb. 26 at about 8 p.m.
Her family believes she may have been abducted.
This man walked into the Bay in Highfield Square mall minutes before Donna O'Rielly walked out, according to the security video. RCMP released the video Friday in hopes of identifying anyone who might have seen O'Rielly the night she disappeared. (RCMP)Const. Chantal Farrah said police want to interview people in the video about O'Rielly, but they need help identifying them first.
"People often ask us, 'How can we assist police?' Well this is the time to assist us," Farrah said.
RCMP want to make sure they have spoken to everyone shown in the two videos released on Friday.
One shows the main entrance to the Bay, the other the back door.
Security video from Moncton's Highfield Square shows a couple walking out of the mall shortly after Donna O'Rielly left by the same door. (RCMP)Farrah said no one in the videos is known to police.
"In the colour video, Donna O’Rielly is seen about midway through the video leaving her place of work," Farrah said in a statement. "She is followed shortly after by a man and woman. You will notice that one of them waits in the entrance way before exiting. Then a younger male and female leave."
Security cameras show her leaving the mall, but she didn't get in the car she drove to work. It was found in the parking lot, where she had left it that morning.
Donna O'Rielly, shown here with a grandchild, was last seen at Highfield Square in Moncton on Friday, Feb. 26, at about 8 p.m. (Submitted by family)O'Rielly, who grew up in Isle aux Morts, in southwestern Newfoundland, and raised her family in Gander, moved to Moncton in 2004 with her husband, Harold.
Anyone who was at Highfield Square last Friday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. is asked to contact the Codiac RCMP at 857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
O'Rielly is five feet three inches tall and 130 pounds, with green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a brown medium-length, suede-like jacket and jeans. She was also carrying a brown purse and a lunch bag.
