Saint John lotto ticket worth $7.7 million

Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Saint John for Saturday's Lotto 6/49 draw is almost $7.7 million richer.

It was the only ticket across Canada to match all six numbers in the game and is worth $7,671,814, officials said.

Who won won't be known until the person goes to the Atlantic Lottery headquarters in Moncton to claim their prize.

The winning numbers for the Feb. 20 draw were: 13, 15, 18, 20, 23, and 26, with a bonus number of 17.

Earlier this month, a Dieppe couple won $1 million in the Atlantic 49 draw.

Chantale Collette and Stephane Frigault, who won that draw, said they planned to purchase a house and start a family with their winnings.
