A New Brunswick elementary school teacher has been found guilty of sexually assaulting students.
Gilles Babineau, 43, was found guilty of five counts of sexual assault against minors in the Campbellton Court of Queen's Bench on Tuesday.
The Kedgwick-area man had been accused of eight assaults at École Écho-Jeunesse, where he taught, between 2003 and 2006. He was found not guilty on three charges.
All of the victims were female about eight years old at the time of the assaults, RCMP Sgt. Andre Pepin said
