Vehicle struck a power pole after a rollover
Police say Highway 8 in Ludlow, N.B., is now open after a single vehicle crash closed the road on Sunday morning.
Cpl. Pierre Chaisson of the RCMP Notheast District of New Brunswick said the vehicle left the road, rolled over and struck a power pole.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital and the extent of the injuries were unknown.
Chaisson said NB Power was called to the scene to deal with the live wires that were on the ground.
The highway, the main route between Fredericton and Miramichi, was reopened at 11 a.m.
Ludlow is 70 kilometres north of Fredericton.
