RCMP in New Brunswick have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man and a woman charged with first-degree murder in the death of an 18-year-old Moncton man.

Baylee Wylie's body was discovered in the aftermath of an early morning house fire on Dec. 17 in Moncton. Police quickly decided foul play had been involved.

Since then, police have been looking for  Marissa Shephard, 20, and Tyler Noel, 18, both of Moncton.

"The murder of Baylee Wylie was extremely violent, so these two subjects should be considered dangerous and not be approached," said Sgt. AndrĂ© Pepin of the Codiac RCMP

On Dec. 24, the pair were charged with first-degree murder and arson, and a provincial warrant was issued. However,  police are unsure whether they have stayed in the area, resulting in the decision to get a Canada-wide warrant.

"At this point, it is unknown if Shephard and Noel are together, or if they are in New Brunswick or outside the province," Pepin said. "The RCMP is going to go and get them if they are somewhere else other than New Brunswick."

Pepin is also warning against anyone helping the two avoid capture.

Police have arrested and charged a third person in connection with Wylie`s death.

On Dec. 21, Devin Morningstar, 18, was charged with first-degree-murder and arson. He is being held in custody, and his lawyer has requested a psychological evaluation.
