RCMP issued arrest warrant after man in Salisbury was struck
A 27-year-old Salisbury man has been arrested for assault with a weapon following an incident in Salisbury where a man was struck with a steel pipe.
RCMP issued a warrant for the arrest of Andrew Stephen Rees in connection with the attack on Dec. 19.
Police, with the assistance of tips from the public, were able to locate and arrest Rees in Salisbury on Saturday.
He was arrested without incident and is being held in custody until a court appearance at a later date.
