The Saint John Police are investigating an armed robbery at an east side home on Thursday night.

The police say two men forced their way into a house on Wren Street and left with cash.

The 66-year-old man who owns the home was not injured in the robbery.

The suspects fled in a grey 2011 Chevrolet Impala with a New Brunswick licence plate. The vehicle was stolen from the robbery victim, according to the police.

Both men are described as being about five-feet-eight-inches tall and weigh 160 pounds.

Police would like to hear from anyone with any information related to the robbery.
