The Saint John Police have charged seven people in connection with a string of fires set in the north end of the city.
Sgt. Pat Bonner said six minors and one adult have been charged with public mischief in connection with fires that were set between June and October.
Bonner said the fires were set at Shamrock Park, Lansdowne Plaza, Newman Street and two dumpster fires, one on Victoria Street and another on Metcalf Street.
"We're still investigating other fires in that area," Bonner said.
"The major crime unit isn't finished yet, and there may possibly be more arrests made."
Court dates and summons for those charged have not yet been set, according to the police.
