Codiac Regional RCMP are seeking the public's help to identify two suspects in the theft of a bird worth more than $1,000 from a pet store in Dieppe.

On March 27, at about 7 p.m., two men entered the PetCulture pet store on Paul Street, Sgt. André Pepin said in a statement.

The men spent several minutes in the store and after they left, employees realized a sun conure bird was missing, said Pepin.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his late 40s to early 50s with a pale complexion. He is about five-foot-nine with a slim build, and long, dark hair.

He was wearing a dark coat at the time.

The second suspect is described as being in his 30s and possibly aboriginal, said Pepin. He is about five-foot-nine, with a medium build, brown eyes, brown hair shaved on the sides, and clean shaven.

He was wearing a dark coat with white stripes on the arms and designs on the chest at the time.
