Minto RCMP searching for missing 22-year-old man

Minto RCMP say the Maquapit Lake man was last seen Wednesday night.

Minto RCMP are trying locating a 22-year-old Maquapit Lake man reported missing on Thursday.

They are asking for the public's assistance in the search.

Mitchell Veenhuis was last seen on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 14, at around 8:30 p.m. when he left his residence on Route 690, Maquapit Lake.

Veenhuis is described as approximately 6 feet 2 inches, weighing 160 pounds, with short, light brown hair and blue eyes. 

He is believed to be driving a blue 2012 Ford Fusion with New Brunswick license plate JEK-814.

Anyone with information on Veenhuis whereabouts is asked to call the Minto RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
