RCMP in Moncton are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect in the theft of an ATM from a restaurant on Mountain Road on Tuesday.

​Codiac Regional RCMP have released photos of a suspect and a suspect vehicle in connection with the theft of an automated teller machine from a Moncton restaurant earlier this week.

Three people used a pickup truck to remove an ATM from 1999 Mountain Rd. on Tuesday, at about 3:30 a.m., RCMP say.

The culprits made off with the ATM and an undisclosed amount of cash.

They fled in a truck, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado model from the early 2000s, on Gorge Road, Const. Damien Thériault stated in a release.

Police were dispatched to the scene around 3:30 a.m., following reports of suspicious activity, he said.
