Notre-Dame man killed when hit by vehicle in Saint-Antoine

A 58-year-old man from Notre-Dame was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Saint-Antoine.

A 58-year-old man from Notre-Dame was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Saint-Antoine on Monday evening, according to the RCMP.

The man and a woman were walking southbound on Yvon Street shortly before 7 p.m. Monday when the man was hit by a vehicle from behind.

The man died at the scene. 

The woman was pushed out of the way and wasn't injured, the police said in a statement.

RCMP area investigating the incident.
