Driving conditions worsen as spring storm lasts into evening
A spring snowstorm that has hit much of New Brunswick Monday continues to trouble the province, creating slippery driving conditions and significant accumulation in some areas.

CBC meteorologist Kalin Mitchell said the storm still has some punch left.
"We still have some further bands of accumulating snow to move through," Mitchell relayed. "For much of the south-eastern half of New Brunswick this is going to be bringing in some totals of 15 to 20 cm."
The good news is that the end is in sight, and the snow should be winding down late evening or in the early part of the night.
"Road conditions have deteriorated," read the tweet. "Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve."
There were reports of a fire truck getting stuck in a driveway responding to a medical call, a transport truck stuck at an intersection, and a snowplow unable to make it up a hill.
