N.B. teen dies in hospital after car crash near Sussex
The 19-year-old driver of a carload of teenagers that crashed on the Kingston Peninsula last week has died.
The identity of the driver has not been released.
Three passengers remain in hospital, including one in intensive care at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Everyone in the car was from the Cambridge Narrows area.
The RCMP said the car crashed into a concrete bridge Thursday night at Long Creek near Sussex and that none of the passengers was wearing a seat belt.
Police say alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor, and the investigation is continuing.
