Montreal man charged in marijuana seizure in N.B.
RCMP say 7.3 kilograms of marijuana found in vehicle during traffic stop
A man from Montreal is facing drug charges in connection with 7.3 kilograms of marijuana being seized by the New Brunswick RCMP.
Investigators believe the drugs were destined for various locations across the Maritimes, Cpl. Chris Smith stated in a release.
Traffic officers stopped a vehicle travelling on Highway 2, near Havelock, N.B., last Friday, said Smith.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the drug seizure.
The driver, Jean-Phillip Dubreil, 36, was arrested.
He is charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The investigation is ongoing.
