A 39-year-old man was shot and injured Sunday morning in Moncton.

Codiac RCMP say they were called around 7 a.m. to a multi-unit home on Robinson Street near Queen Street.

More than one shot was fired, police said. A man who lives in the neighbourhood said police have been called to the home many times before.

Police said the victim has injuries that are not life-threatening and investigators believe the shooting was not random.

Police are still searching for a suspect they say took off from the scene. He was wearing a dark hoodie, red shirt, dark hat and dark pants.
