Two New Brunswick friends are sharing a $1 million Lotto ticket.

Alexandre Richard says he only learned he was the co-winner after he offered to drive his friend Marc Richard to the office to collect the money in Moncton.

That's when it turned out the Oct. 19 winning ticket was in both their names. That news was followed by some high fives and hugs.

The winning ticket was bought at the Shediac Road One Stop in Moncton.
