The RCMP are circulating security camera photographs of man who attempted an armed robbery of a McDonald's restaurant in Campbellton on Tuesday in an attempt to identify the suspect.

A man entered the restaurant at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, jumped onto the counter and demanded money.

The man is described as being of medium height and weighing approximately 160 pounds with dark hair. He was clean shaven.

Two employees struggled with the man before he left and one of them received minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. Two customers were taken to hospital and treated for shock.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie with white lettering on its front, along with a black jacket with red markings, and blue jeans.

The man left on foot, heading south along George Street.

RCMP ask that anyone who may have been in the area between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and saw a person matching the description either enter or leave the restaurant get in contact with them or contact Crime Stoppers.
