Masked man wanted in Hartland legion robbery

Police say a masked man tried to rob the Royal Canadian Legion in Hartland, N.B., on Friday afternoon.

No money stolen from bar

Police in New Brunswick are looking for a man who tried to rob the Royal Canadian Legion in Hartland on Friday afternoon. 

The RCMP said the man entered the legion around 4:20 p.m. wearing a mask and brandishing a knife. They said he demanded money from the bartender, but fled with nothing.

He was then seen getting into a vehicle with a woman.

Investigators said no one was injured.

A 41-year-old woman was arrested later that night.
