A man wanted in connection with an Ontario shooting was found in Saint John Monday.

Members of the Saint John Police Force's tactical unit found Sirvon Edwards, 31, of Markham, Ont., at a home on Mecklenburg Street in the south end.

Over the weekend, the police had issued a warning that Edwards might be in the city.

They credit the public for helping them find Edwards.

He is believed to be involved in a May 8 incident where shots were fired in a pub near Yonge Street in Toronto.

A 22-year-old man was found shot. He survived.
