A man was hospitalized after his truck rolled over on Highway 1 in the Lepreau area on Sunday afternoon.

Musquash firefighters were called to the accident at 1:30 p.m. and found the man trapped in a truck that was laying on its side.

Rescue crews had to cut the roof off the truck to get the driver out.

The man was conscious and alert, but he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The truck had been travelling westbound on the highway.

Fire officials say it was snowing and road conditions were slippery at the time of the crash.
