Two men are dead after a head-on collision between a car and a passenger van in Summerfield, N.B., on Wednesday.

RCMP say they responded to accident around 4 p.m. Two men from Perth-Andover, aged 51 and 55, who were in the car, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

The four people in the van suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

​RCMP say conditions and visibility were poor at the time of the crash. 

The investigation continues with the help of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
