Valentine's Day can be a time for romance and excitement, but for people who are single, the day can be a bit of a downer.
The CBC's Philip Drost travelled around Fredericton to ask for people's advice for those who weren't feeling the love as Valentine's Day approaches.
Ellen McCarthy was one person who offered some sage advice to people who may not be in a relationship this Valentine's Day.
"Be patient, love yourself, if you love yourself and you are happy with your day-to-day life, you never know, other love may find you," she said.
