Dashcam captures taxi driving wrong way around new traffic circle

A Checker cab was caught on video Tuesday driving the wrong way in the new Fredericton roundabout.

The $2 million roundabout, which is on Route 8 and also draws in traffic from Smythe Street and Bishop Drive, opened on Sept. 22.

This isn't the first time a driver has been caught on video going the wrong way.

The city launched a public education campaign to show Fredericton drivers how to use the roundabout, but some drivers are still confused.

Reaction on social media was swift.
