Fire forces N.B. family of four from home
A family of four are staying with relatives after a fire forced them from their eastern New Brunswick home Friday evening.
The woman and three children, ages one to five years old, live in Saint-Louis de Kent, about 10 kilometres northwest of Richibucto, according to the Canadian Red Cross.
The fire damaged the second level, while smoke and water hit the main level. The home is owned by the New Brunswick Housing Authority.
Red Cross spokesman Dan Bedell said in a news release the organization has bought clothing, food, child care items and toys for the family.
