CBC Radio in Maritimes wins RTDNA awards

CBC P.E.I. won the Ron Laidlaw Award for its continuing coverage of food insecurity on the Island.
Laura Chapin and Stephanie Kelly researched and presented the stories on the challenges that many Islanders face accessing enough affordable, healthy food. The series aired on Island Morning.
RTDNA Canada represents radio and TV stations in the country.
The awards were handed out Saturday night.
