Four canoeists, aged 20-22 are safe and sound after spending a night in the woods.
The men embarked on a canoe trip in Napadogan, but were reported missing when they failed to arrive at their destination on the Nashwaak River by 10 pm.
The men stopped and lit a fire, which was spotted by the RCMP helicopter crew tasked with the search.
Two ground search and rescue professionals were airlifted into the canoeists' location Monday morning since the four men couldn't be taken out as a group on board the helicopter, according to Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh.
The men were safely escorted out of the woods without injury.
