Canada-wide warrant issued for Moncton stabbing
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Moncton man in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the city last week.
Christopher William James Fergusson, 25, is wanted on charges of break and enter with intent to commit the indictable offence of aggravated assault; and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, say RCMP.
On May 11, about 7 p.m., a 33-year-old man was stabbed on Highfield Street.
The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries.
One man has already been arrested in connection with the case.
RCMP have said both suspects were known to police and the victim.
