Bathurst women's trial in senior’s death delayed
The trial of two women charged with criminal negligence in the death of a senior has been delayed until June 20.
The two women are charged in connection with the death of Joseph Harvey Henry, 78, last November.
Henry, who stayed at the women's special care home near Bathurst, died at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Nov. 3.
The case was adjourned on Monday after the lawyer for Patricia Pitre, 59, and Karen Pitre, 38, asked for more time to prepare for the hearing.
The women operated the Pitre Special Care Home near Bathurst.
The other patients of the privately-run special care home were removed a few days after Harvey's death.
