RCMP hope to learn identity, cause of death
An autopsy is expected to be performed Monday on human remains found in Riverview over the weekend.
RCMP are hoping to identify the person and the determine the cause of death.
Two hikers made the grisly discovery in a wooded area on the east side of Gunningsville Boulevard, about one kilometre from Coverdale Road, on Saturday afternoon.
A forensic anthropologist is assisting the RCMP's major crime unit and forensic identification experts with the investigation.
