Arson charge laid in Saint-Antoine fire
Man, 50, sent for pyschiatric evaluation
A Saint-Antoine man has been charged with arson in connection with a suspicious fire that destroyed a home in the eastern New Brunswick community last week.
The 50-year-old man, who appeared in Moncton provincial court on Monday, has been ordered to undergo a 30-day psychiatric assessment, RCMP Sgt. Jeff Johnston stated in a release.
The man has also been charged with failing to stop for police, Johnston said.
No one was injured in the fire.
