RCMP say a 21-year-old man reported missing on Saturday has been found dead.

A family member in Saint John reported Adam Joseph Andrews missing on Saturday when he failed to show up for work.

Efforts to find Andrews began in Saint John but then moved to the Hammond River near Quispamsis when his vehicle was found nearby Saturday night.

Andrews was last seen at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday 12 near the intersection of the Stock Farm Road and Route 100 near Quispamsis.

On Sunday search crews, assisted by a police dog and a helicopter, searched the area where Andrew’s vehicle was found.

The case has now been turned over to the Rothesay Regional Police.
