Fredericton police close down Prospect Street after accident

Fredericton police have closed down part of Prospect Street in Fredericton to all cars and pedestrians while they investigate a traffic accident.

Fredericton police have closed down part of Prospect Street in Fredericton to all cars and pedestrians while they investigate a traffic accident. 

Police closed the street between Prospect ball diamond to Hanwell Road at about 6 p.m. Monday and said it would stay closed for two to three hours.

An accident reconstruction team was on the scene.

No other information was available, police said in an email.
