2nd teacher from Moncton high school faces sex charges

A second Moncton school teacher in five weeks has been arrested and charged with various sexual offences while in a position of trust.
William MacGillivray, 41, appeared in provincial court in Moncton Thursday on counts of child luring, sexual exploitation and sexual assault.
The teacher and drama instructor at Harrison Trimble High School was arrested Wednesday.
The charges are in connection with alleged incidents involving a girl under the age of 18. The incidents are said to have occurred between March 1 and Nov. 20 of this year.
MacGillivray remains in custody pending a bail hearing tomorrow afternoon.
Also to appear in court Friday is Kenneth Gunn, 39, from Riverview, another teacher at Harrison Trimble.
Gunn was arrested on Nov. 14th on sex-related charges involving two girls under the age of 18 while he was in a position of trust.
He is scheduled to enter pleas on charges of possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation and sexual assault.
