2 men face fraud charges for using fake credit cards
RCMP say pair from Toronto used fake cards in N.B., N.S.
Two Toronto men are facing fraud charges after New Brunswick RCMP seized counterfeit credit cards and a variety of electronic equipment from their vehicle Friday.
On Friday, Codiac RCMP pulled over a vehicle the men were driving in Moncton. In a news release, police said the two men were spotted trying to purchase gift cards earlier in the day.
Police said they believe the pair may have used the fake cards at gas bars and stores throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Li Yi, 31, and Puyuan Guan, 21, will appear in Moncton provincial court on Monday.
