Two people in New Brunswick are facing a dozen charges including sexual assault, luring a child over the Internet and operating a common bawdy house.
The RCMP arrested a man and woman from Saint-Isidore on Thursday following a month-long investigation.
The Mounties say they have identified four girls under the age of 18 who were victims of the alleged offences.
Thirty-seven-year-old Regis Brideau faces charges including operating a common bawdy house, sexual assault and luring a child over the Internet.
An 18-year-old woman who can't be identified because she was a minor at the time of the alleged offences is charged with aiding and abetting sexual assault and living off of the avails of prostitution of a person under 18.
Brideau is in custody and is scheduled to appear in Tracadie-Sheila provincial court on Monday.
The woman has been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in January.
