Mug shots for Premier's son

Twenty-four-year-old Aseem Dosanjh was fingerprinted and photographed at Windsor Police headquarters Friday. The son of B.C. Premier Ujjal Dosanjh has been charged with assaulting a police officer and causing a disturbance following a fight outside a Windsor bar last weekend.

Dosanjh had little to say to reporters as he walked by with a bandage on an injured hand. But his lawyer, Pat Ducharme, says Dosanjh wants to put the incident behind him as quickly as possible, so he can get on with his law career.

Dosanjh had been celebrating his graduation from the University of Windsor law school. Police laid charges after a fight broke out outside a downtown bar.

Dosanjh is currently out on bail. He'll appear in court again in three weeks.
