The person in charge of Canada's famous "Snowbirds" aerobatics team, Col. Marc Ouellet, faces a court martial, accused of obstruction of justice and three other crimes on his airbase here.

Col. Marc Ouellet is base commander at the facility known in the military as 15-Wing.

On April the 1st, someone set-off an explosive device at a party at the officer's mess.

Two people suffered minor injuries caused by the device, known as a bear-banger. Ouellet is accused of trying to dissuade subordinates from involving military police in the investigation of the explosion.

A date for his court martial has not been set.
